Thank You, Lord

Dhyaan Thanking the Lord

Dhyaan Thanking the Lord

Thank you; Lord, for my parents dear

For all my loved ones far and near;

Thank you for my brothers and sisters

And for all the help I get from others;

For my country, Lord, I thank you, too.

And for my friends all tried and true;of the sun

And thank you, Lord, for the heat

For the light of the moon, for all the fun;

For all the beautiful things around me

The mountains, rivers, birds, the sights I see;

And above all, Lord, for Your life which You gave

For the pain You endured that all may be saved.

I was reading this poem about thanking the Lord.  It was a nice words to feel.  My thought of sharing this with you is to be aware that we should all thank our God for the graces He gave us.  He don’t get tired of giving us all the blessings we receive.  All we have to do is just say a simple word . . . “Thank you, Lord

Eclipse of the Sun

Sometimes a little piece of the sun suddenly seems to disappear.  And when more and more of it disappears until finally the bright sunlight is blotted out, and they day is plunged into darkness.

The stars can be seen and chickens often go to roost.  But after a little while, a little bit of the sun begins to show again.  Then more and more of it appears.  And in a few minutes, the “night” is over.

Long ago, many people thought that a huge dragon is the sky had swallowed the sun.

Today, we know that when there is an eclipse of the sun, it is really the moon that blots out the sunlight when the moon gets between the earth and the sun.

Of course, the moon is much smaller than the sun, but it is so much closer than the sun that he two appear to have almost the same size.  There are eclipse of the moon, too.  The moon does not five off any light.

Quite often the moon is its journey around the earth travels into the earth’s shadow.  With the earth shutting off the sunlight, the moon stops shining.

A Moonlight Night

The moon was big and bright.  It just sit there in the middle of the night.   Lighting those dark space.  Saying nothing, just watching.  What a wonderful creation of God!
